Highland House sells sofas across the UK. This policy explains how we treat the personal details you give us when you ask for a quote, place an order or contact us.

This website does not store your details. When you fill in a quote or contact form, your browser opens WhatsApp with a message already written. Nothing is sent to us until you press send in WhatsApp.

When you message us we receive what you choose to send, usually:

• your name and phone number
• your postcode, so we can arrange delivery
• the sofa, size, colour and extras you picked
• any notes you add, such as room size or timing

We use these details only to prepare your quote, answer your questions, arrange delivery and assembly, and take payment on delivery. We do not sell your details or use them for unrelated marketing.

Messages are sent through WhatsApp, which is run by a separate company and has its own privacy policy. Please read it if you want to know how WhatsApp handles your messages.

We keep order and delivery details for as long as we need them to complete your order, handle any after-sales questions and meet our legal and accounting duties. Quote chats that don’t become orders can be deleted on request.

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the details we hold about you, ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete them. Message us on +44 7443 734680 and we’ll help. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
